Yep; since they're really only used in D-Day (or beach landing) scenarios, I don't see any reason for you to run out and buy any. Shapeway models would be just fine. Heck, you could use paper printouts...
So the old sets had vehicles in scale ranging from 10-15 mm. Is there a list somewhere of which vehicles are 15mm scale? I'm thinking of picking up some of the older vehicles, but only if the scale is consistent with the newer sets.
To answer this particular question, the v1 vehicles are generally smaller compared to v2 vehicles. The play just fine so you can still use them, it is strctly the size difference. They can also proxie for other units. They are useful...
Not only that, but many units were ONLY made in the smaller Version 1 scale, like the Jadgpanther, Katyusha, T-35, Chi-Nu for example. I agree with curtm1911...the Version 1 vehicles ARE useful; it really comes down to your personal preference. For me personally, I'd like all the vehicles to be the same size, but it doesn't bother me if they aren't.

Gents:
You can find the up-to-date docs of the AAM special abilities and game mechanics at: tsessler.weebly.com/qa-documents.html. The link is also found on this Forumini on the AAM Resource Page thread.

Also, I don't know if you caught the "fine text" at the top of the list. This might help clear things up:
Here is a master list of the majority of scenarios produced for Axis and Allies Miniatures, grouped by belligerents. This list was compiled on the "original" Forumini by Pasalades; I can't imagine how long it took him to do this! Before our end of June deadline, I will attempt to save as many of these as possible from the old Forum. I've led off with bringing over Der Leiter's Battle of Britain scenario, but any help in this effort would be greatly appreciated! The scenarios in bold have already been rescued!]
Basically, I have posted the scenarios in bold on this new Forumini already. The other ones I'll have to copy and paste this summer. In addition, some scenarios on the list are no longer available on the internet; however, I DO have hard copies of them, and I'll need to type them out.
I don't understand.. None of these have links for download? Or am I missing something?
Hola! My apologies for being away so long....teaching tends to take up most of my time during the school year unfortunately.
Anyway, the reason there are no links to download comes from several factors including the fact that Photobucket changed their policy and no longer allows Free accounts, and I honestly can't afford an account. . In addition, when I try to create a link for one of the scenarios I've posted already on this site, it doesn't work. The link just takes me back to the Master List. If you guys have any ideas how to make this work, please, please let me know!

If I'm going on pure looks, it's gotta be the Puma.
The one I like to use in game play though is the SdKfz 222. I love playing Early War engagements between the Germans and Poles (my Fav country in AAM). It's a bonus that the Nationalist Chinese (tied for my 2nd Fav country) also had the 222.
Did the Blackburn Skua carry a similar bomb load compared to the German Ju 87 Stuka dive bomber? It seems the Stuka could carry either one large bomb or a series of smaller bombs. From what I can find, the Skua could carry a single 500 lb. bomb. For my purposes I'm talking about the 1939-40 time period.
ALL of the sources I've looked at agree that the Skua could carry a 500 lb bomb or 8 20 lb bombs. The sources are reputable, including:
Corrected the Norwegian Bergkanon's AI stat to 7/7/6 and updated its' card. I'm still hoping to get some feedback on the aircraft I have posted in the Custom Cards section. (Gloster Gladiator, Blackburn Skua Mk II and Hawker Hurricane Mk I. I'm going to turn my focus towards creating some AAM playtest maps.
Going to try and get back to you on the Skua today
