I'm with you on the Staghound and Puma and also love the firepower on the 234/4 "Pakwagen". The UGLIEST has to be the Japanese Type87 Armored Car obviously not designed by the same people who designed their battleships!

I love the Type 87, in a kind of steampunk-nightmare-before-Christmas way.
Those who don't remember their history are bound to do something or other...
I always liked the Sdkfz 250 for looks, but the small scale AAM mini was sad for me so I painted other ones. The M3 Scout car was a nice looking mini, in my opinion. For abilities, I have to go with the Sdkfz 251. Put an MG on those babies and you’ve got a mess as long as you keep distance from armor.

If I'm going on pure looks, it's gotta be the Puma.
The one I like to use in game play though is the SdKfz 222. I love playing Early War engagements between the Germans and Poles (my Fav country in AAM). It's a bonus that the Nationalist Chinese (tied for my 2nd Fav country) also had the 222.
I think it's sad that we have the Daimler Dingo scout car but not the Daimler Armoured Car.
I agree & also think it is sad that there are lots of units that were never made. WotC just ignored so many things, such as Russian artillery units & some infantry for some countries. I guess the bottom line was more important with Magic the Gathering than to support & fill out AAM. Thankfully we have custom card makers & aftermarket options. Gaming Models does have the Daimler Armored Car.
