Big units have run riot to a certain extent and the nationality additions seem to be getting looser with each set.
An example on the former point regarding the soviets. They had I think the biggest submarine fleet at the start of the war and although results weren't great they were used extensively, but we still only have two in game. Most of the big stuff was used sparingly at best even down to destroyer size and yet many smaller unit types, used extensively, we still don't have.
"That's right son, join the navy. Get behind a bloody big gun and knock the hell out of somebody"
"We went out, got our arses kicked, then came back again"

It's really interesting to me how people can have such wildly different perspectives. The feedback from my gaming group is this deck and the last were pretty light on "sexy heavies." My own perception is they were on the "a little lighter than average" side.
Fun list, but I think I hear the crickets chirping.
Like I said... it was FUN to make for me. I do believe Thailand, Sweden, Spain, and ABC need expanding.
The ABC need fleshing out. It's a poor state where a "what if" 4th/5th front (and alternative theatre) in the War At Sea in WW2 is incompletely supported. If you bring in one ABC nation, you got to commit to bringing in the rest. It's like adding Germany without the UK, or Japan without the US.

Well yes and no. Brazil was an officially declared combatant whereas A and C weren't.
Though they were far closer to joining in than Turkey

The South American triumvirate of "superpowers" was a hot bed of military build up and diplomatic tension for decades. It's as valid to include this "what if?" smaller theatre of war as it is to include any number of "paper only" ships.
Or we can have a 5th Fletcher variant, a 4th Zero variant, another Iowa variant, a Siam fishing boat and a US jet. <note numbers are not accurate>

You points were definately raised during the set composition discussion Tee. And other options as well. There are simply never enough sets to do the things we want to everyones satisfaction.
Not against the ABC nations, but I think we are forgetting a major combatant of the war that has yet to be represented. While most of it wasn't all that flashy and sunk by 1937, China did have a navy. No need for more than a few cards, but could bring them on par with Siam. Black Sheep Squadron Card would be cool as well. Just my thought, before we start bringing in every non combatant nation, maybe for a few cards for a country that was at war for almost ten years. My two cents.
