I contacted eBay customer service by phone and started the refund/complaint process early. Just got the refund today. I decided I did not want to wait the two months for nothing to show up.
This is the response I have received on five different occasions when I asked if the package had been sent or if they had a tracking number-
Hi, friends, I have for your shipping products, I believe the product will bring pleasure. And I promise you will receive it in 25-35 days, You know the product is very cheap to sell you. So we can not provide tracking numbers. But do not worry about any problems. We can contact the post office at any time to contact the current arrival position and tell you. Make sure you will be happy to use. Thank you
Sorry, I think this is a scam. I bought one of the early listings and keep receiving the same generic reply to my inquiries (this was about a month ago). Since then, the pattern keeps getting repeated with a variety of AAM, WAS, and Flames of War lots (sometimes they even use the same picture/description) being listed every couple of days. In each case it is a new eBay account with an insanely low BIN price and free shipping. I thought it was too good to be true when I bought the first lot, but figured I would take a chance with the eBay protection policy. I finally got fed up when I saw them list a product that I seen a couple months earlier on eBay and had looked into buying it (Flames of War). It looks like they are copy/pasting old listings.
I have been reporting every new listing I see at this point to eBay.
Only a few more days. If you haven't participated in the past give it a shot this year. It is a fun way to get some new and interesting game pieces and interact with the Forumini community.
