ASW Air Patrol was written for aircraft that had an attack other than a bomb attack. In the end either will work of course.

Airborne Raider - This unit rolls one extra attack die when making Bomb attacks against Destroyers and Auxiliary units. Seems appropriate for the Black Sea to me.

Doesnt really matter which it uses but a 3dice asw attack is a lot more useful than a +1 die versus auxiliaries

Clearer water in the Black Sea? There isn't a lot of consistency in ASW numbers. I was just addressing flaks comment.

Back to that, I prefer a permanent +1 to destroyers and auxiliaries (the DDs being the important part) over a boosted ASW attack. Plus it is more historically accurate for that theatre.

This was a license-built, reduced performance version of the Sparviero. I don't see a reason to go crazy with it.

Actually I wrote i preferred Airborne Raider for this unit; Surprise a nice SA but I agree with you is more for the IJN planes;

Other planes that have it ZEKE---BLOCH 151---A5M4 CLAUDE---METEOR MKIII ; I guess appropriate.

I like personally like the Plane as last proposed; AWS Bomber 2; Airborne Raider and LDA;; I think game wise and Historically it represents the unit well.
