Four battlecruisers of the Borodino class were funded in the 1912 Russian Naval Program. They were laid down before the start of the First World War, but none of them were completed by 1917. The steam turbines were to be built in Great Britain but were never delivered and Soviet industry was not capable of their manufacture at the time. The hulls were launched but the ships were canceled and scrapped after World War I. Had they been completed they would have undoubtedly been refit with upgrades similar to the Poltava class battleships by World War II.

I'm personally not attached to either name. Leaving the CV option open has some appeal if that's important enough to folks. We're talking complete fantasy land in any case.

(Note: As with all ships from this era, the AA battery would have been significantly upgraded by 1941.)

Izmail looks like a solid battlewagon. Good for a Baltic Sea or Black Sea slugfest.
The Armament listing is missing the "as designed in 1917" comment. Does it need to be there?
The "as designed" comment was for the development process. We generally do not give the date for the armament fit. They are constantly changing anyway!
