Esp with the slightly lower gun scores. I would be ok with it. In the grand scheme of things I also find 2nds + Terts to be preferable to 2nds + Bristle
Length (OA): 734 ft 5 in Beam: 100 ft 1 in Speed: 29.5 knots
Armament: 12 x 14 in (4 x 3), 24 x 5.1 in guns (24 x 1), 4 x 2.5 in AA (4 x 1), 6 x 17.7-in (3 below waterline on each side) torpedo tubes (As designed in 1917)
(Note: As with all ships from this era, the AA battery would have been significantly upgraded by 1941.)
Just reviewing the specifications, I am wondering were the tertiaries came from? The ship was designed with a uniform secondary of 24 x 5.1 in guns mounted in casemates along the hull (12 to a side.)
In cases where we have a large uniform secondary battery it is customary to use "Bristling with Guns." This is a specification driven SA, not an option. Separate tertiaries are specifically for ships that have a distinct tertiary battery of guns that are different from the secondaries.
So I formally propose that the tertiary attack line be deleted and the SA "Bristling with Guns" be added. I know it isn't as good, but that is the way it was designed. Also, even 24 casemated guns was a very poor battery which is why most navies had eliminated as many of them as they could by WWII. Range was terrible and they couldn't be used in even moderate seas.

This was discussed. At length earlier in the thread
I see. Well, my experience is most people usually want separate tertiaries, but they don't understand that if you look at RB's cards, Bristling is used with every BB that has a uniform secondary with the early exception of Prince of Wales. I shouldn't even be an option for discussion IMO.
But I will drop it at this point.

I just assume (as we have with other early century what-ifs) that the light AA would have been upgraded by 1940. There might have been other upgrades, but with the Soviets it is impossible to know.
