I agree, I understand the benefit. However, I'm a little concerned about what a new owner may have in mind to keep the old forum running. Besides, ND just spend the time and energy to set things up here, not sure what the reaction would be by him and others.
I have to agree , a huge migration effort is underway by forum leadership and the community as a whole, asking everyone to abandon that would be disrespecting their effort.

1941 - British cruiser HMS Capetown bombarded Massawa, Eritrea, Italian East Africa. Italian torpedo boat MAS.213 counterattacked and seriously damaged HMS Capetown with a torpedo at 2315 hours, but Capetown was able to escape despite the damage. She would be towed to Bombay, India for repairs
