2 armor 77% but 0% vs. destroyers so that doesn’t matter
3 armor 40%

Looks to me like we need to go with 5 dice and HLB. Otherwise we are again making the existing B-24 obsolete. Hitting a moving ship from a heavy bomber isn't supposed to be easy. It's the ASW that really matters with these. The 4 to 5 ASW is what makes this version so attractive.

Well, I think this is already over-buffed with a potential 5 ASW attack, but it isn't worth a fight over the 5 bomb attack. The ASW being a one-time tempers it a bit although it is usually the 1st round that is most important with subs.

So just remove the torp? That actually makes sense given the refit and use. The ASW 5 is plenty good enough for the Homing Torpedo.
