All cards are up. I've set up the remaining admirals to check.
I strongly encourage you, to review the cards. All the cards for any potential tweaks. Edits to fluff text or any improvements you think might help. They can be discussed as raised.
I have a suggestion, what if you guys did an "Identity Crisis" themed expansion. Basically, everything in the expansion are units that were shared by different nations. Just some ideas randomly popping into my head: Murmansk/USS Milwaukee, Greek/Ialian Freccia (Dardo) class destroyers, Romanian MAS Boats, Italian Bf109, French Sunderland, HMS Uganda, HMS Royal Sovereign, TA destroyers for Germany, "SMS" Niobi, Russian Delfinal, Russian Regele Ferdinand, Turkish air force, HMS Archer (have you done USS Long Island?), Dutch Campbeltown... etc.
Well, anyways, you get the idea. Worst case scenario, it makes for a fun mental exercise.
Ahoy, the Katsuragi is the last card needing completion now.
Commanders remain in need of further review and testing.
If ypu've the time. I'd recommend chiming in there and also checking on the completed for anything we've missed. Especially on the cards that had limited (ie single page) development
Just re-read this and I WAS involved in the conversation about the intention of the deck. Somewhere in those two years I'd lost that train of thought!
Thinking about it with hindsight, I wonder if there is/was to be no more printed decks if we should have gone away from that concept a little with a new chapter. Something like a new forumini navies update that could have fleshed out numbers and given people more choices and variation. Working through classes and doing the best of. Not talking 150 flowers etc. but decent half a dozen per class numbers. People could just have pulled/used the gaming side of what they wanted then. Potentially waiting years for certain units is not ideal!
My worry at this stage is what the forums going to be like at the end of another two year stint doing a standard 'everything in' not to be printed deck. Undoubtedly we've lost numbers and it could end up being a deck of half a dozen people. The picking of units at the beginning is obviously the best for contributions but after that...
This situation is obviously be default going to help those who play online first but it would be a sad day if we lose the fact it is a physical game first and foremost.

I was fortunate to be in the room for alot of the preceding decks and was aware that most of the team decks were made possible by passionate individuals stumping a significant portion of the printing cost or thier time to coordinate shipping.
So far as changing the structure. If i'd been proposed it might have got up. I tend to think that concession in format are made up for, by the focus and direction team decks give. Ie if there are limited Hull6 battleship for which i have little interest, i will assist knowing other ships in the train.
If there are 500 ships on deck. Im not equally sharing energy between them.
Yeah that came across, particularly last deck with Weeds going to the lengths he did after what happened with the cards etc.
I wonder if a one of small print run could have been viable, similar to what SWO did when printing his and Brigs' cards. Or if another route might open we can but hope!

Uniform reverse sides drastically cut costs. I thought of it that print (for this worl) would be determined after the fact, dependant on demand. Rather than planned ahead. Since it wasn't planned, it isnt proper to pretend it was

Fantastic news on the print, will make all the difference.
The fluff text takes on a bit more importance again but I'm confident with weeds at the final editing tiller. Some of those on the threads are still not great for my liking after all the back and forth we did on them. The Kelvin one for example, still doesn't read right.
As for units getting swapped it seems a mixed bag. Minneapolis has a good history and has always seemed to have been left behind regarding custom cards available for the others in the class. Augusta though was a highlight of the deck, I would back getting them both in if possible. Like someone else has mentioned the US air is distinctly underwhelming. Also with the shapeways situation in mind, I would back units with WOTC minis more than ever now. Not sure on that french DD, that previous we had seemed to be good. That other IJN DD you had on your list too seemed promising. The IJN is looking Aircraft/Capital ship heavy the usual historic bugbear! Also four large cruiser and above ships for the Italians but no sub. Is that french sub in for any particular reason? class reprint or whatever as the french sub from the voting is sill an option - busiest sub left for them I believe, with several war patrols in the north sea etc. I still say if we hadn't pigeon holed some of the RN choices with the starter theme, we could have had Glasgow for the town and an improvement on Kelvin. As it is, My vote would still go to Southampton over Gloucester, all that dev thread for nothing.
LeHardi had dreadful ASW because of incomplete data.
Monge is reprint of casabianca that had a go at one of the illustrious class.
We shouldn't have changed from the manchester. Its a distinct subclass with greater beam. I missed that point, from when i made the list to development and was honestly to tired to fix it then. Since we can fix it now, glouscester is the best ship to do
It'll be the third change in that Town Class thread and, Weeds is gonna have to take time re-costing and doing other work. But I am inclined to agree. Gloucester Sub-Class is the last one not done of the Town Class. Fortunately I have a Manchester miniature from Roe.
Sucks that Shapeways is underwater now (pun intended). I had plans to buy US Submarines, Japanese aircraft from Direwolf and get all my Boise WoTC minis replaced with Roe's Brooklyn's.
Just realized Augusta is in the hypo thread deck and not this, losing track! Trying to work out what units have been cut/changed as it stands. Was there a second US DD? The Crocus has gone after all that flower talk.
Obviously its impossible to say at this stage but if this was to be the last printed installment, I think that would have made an impact on getting certain units in on the last call. The obvious gaps like an Augusta, Starling etc.
I also think the persuasive argument is there to get the Bismarck/Tirpitz cards properly done. There was a pretty recent thread on this with general agreement they are under powered from what they should be. Defense line and gunnery is under and they should be hitting about 4-6 points higher. That to me is the last obvious thing to do with the Germans. Certainly more attractive to do a standard fix or OP. variant of these than the increasingly WW1 vintage BB's or more obscure fantasy units they and the axis in general are getting.

Hmm..first I heard that Bismarck & Tirpitz are underpowered. I am willing to see what a proper card looks like if future deck is possible or switching out ones on current deck.
