USS Hancock *DONE*

Looks like 27 has the most support. I said I would go along with that and I will.

Bunker Hill is at least a point undercosted IMO. You see her in almost every game (if she can appear by year limit) nowadays.

I agree with Flak. If you take Flag 2 off, this is a weak Intrepid and should be 26. Leave Flag 2 on and cost it at 27.

SWO's Comparison;;

Essex: Expert Bomber 2, Replenish Aircraft (50/50 shot to re-grow a 14 point plane - Helldiver, Avenger, Corsair). Flag 0 = 28 points
Bunker Hill: Expert Dog, Expert Bombs, Installation Strike (admittedly very situational), Flag 0 = 27 Points
Intrepid: Expert Torps, Airfield Strike, Flag 0 = 26 points
Hornet: Turkey Shot (rerolls on 1 air attack after turn 4), Expert Dog, Flag 0 = 26 points


The point is; its apparent the proposed unit as is doesn't work at 27 or 28

Using SWO's comparison

The Essex has a Flag 1 so at 28 points Hancock should be at 27

  At 27 points Bunker Hill puts Hancock at a slight point disadvantage ; agreed not a big deal

So now if you want the 3 expert SA's in your build;;

  It was Intrepid and Bunker Hill at 53pts now its Bunker Hill and Hancock at 54pts; boy the rich keep getting richer!!

So whats been done IS done; I don't think it matters what a club plays anymore or if you love the USN

  These 4cap CV's unbalance this game quite a bit and i think you have to slow the freight train down;

I think the unit as proposed can be remedied: but if Flag 2 is so important and we don't want to waste anymore time???

Sorry this frustrates you; i'm just not a big fan of these cheap 4 cap carriers;

  I don't design; but with these things i'd start at a cost and work around that;

not the opposite looking for a cost fit thats really not their.
