How about the SA “replenish aircraft” that we’ve seen on the Essex, as Indomitable was an enlarged Illustrious class carrier to take 48 rather than 36 aircraft
Indomitable did bring some Hurricanes to Sumatra as a aircraft ferry. I like the idea of Replenish Aircraft on her. I don't see any notable fighter actions (not that that is a requirement), but I do some bombing things.

Indomitable class Fleet Carrier (half-sister of Illustrious class) Commissioned: October 1941 Decommissioned: August 1953 Displacement: 23,000 tons standard Length (OA): 753 ft, 11 in Beam: 95 ft, 9 in Speed: 30.5 kts Armour: 4.5in belt. 3in deck Armament: 16 x 4.5 in HA (8 x 2), 48 x 2 pdr pom-pom AA (6 x 8), , 22 X 20 mm AA Aircraft capacity: 45 (56 by 1945) Changes:
Round-down on fore and aft flight deck was reduced with the result that usable flight deck was increased and aircraft handling also increased. 1944: Added 12 x 40 mm AA (2 X 4, 2 X 2) End of war: Had installed additional 13 x 40 mm AA (13 x 1) and 36 x 20 mm AA
Notes: Indomitable differed from her sisters in having two levels of hangar deck like Ark Royal, however hangar height was too short for Corsairs. Thinner side armor allowed for more bunkerage such that she could actually carry enough aviation fuel for the 56 aircraft. The Illustrious class were permanently hobbled by lack of aviation fuel bunkerage even when they started using deck parking to increase aircraft capacity. Indomitable did not have this issue. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Ship - Carrier 1941 Cost: ? Speed: 2 Capacity: 2 MG: 6-6-4 AA: 8 A/VA/HP: 5-11-4

May, 1942 Operation Ironclad - Occupation of Diego Suarez in the Indian Ocean. Her aircraft, plus gunfire from the destroyer Laforey, sankthe French sloop D'Entrecasteaux.
August, 1942 - Part of the escort for Operation Pedestal in the Mediterranean. Carried two squadrons of Sea Hurricanes, one squadron of Martlets, and two squadrons of Albacores. In the heavy air defense fighting 30 enemy aircraft were shot down by the CAP (probably not all from Indomitable), but Lt. R.J. Cork of Indomitable shot down five of them with his Sea Hurricane. Indomitable was damaged by two bombs and holed by a near miss on August 11, but survived.
July, 1943 - Joined Force H in Gibraltar and provided cover for the Allied landings in Sicily with HMS Formidable. She had three squadrons of Sea Hurricanes and one squadron of Albacores. She was hit by one torpedo from a Ju 88. She very nearly sunk, but damage control barely managed to get her to Malta.
August 1944 - Joined the Far East fleet with two squadrons of Hellcats, 2.5 squadrons of Barracudas. Participated in strikes against enemy shore targets and shipping in SE Asia area through February 1945. Participated in Okinawa landings.
October 1944 - Became flagship of Rear Admiral Sir Philip Vian of the British Pacific Fleet.
May 1945 - Kamikaze struck a glancing blow on Indomitable's flight deck and then went over the side. No significant damage was done.
August 1945 - Preparing for attack on Japanese mainland she was became flagship of 11th carrier squadron for Rear Admiral Harcourt. Led the occupation of Hong Kong after the Japanese surrender. Aircraft from Indomitable and HMS Venerable had to bomb and strafe suicide boats that had sailed to attack arriving British forces.
