Here is cut paste from the Vodka scenario. ".....and the first team to occupy the objective in the casualty phase alone wins. Game play continues until there is a clear winner".
1. The conditions for a win are clearly stated. "the first team to occupy the objective in the casualty phase alone wins". Which I did!
2. There was no turn limit stated, rather, simply a clear winner was needed. The first statement defines what a win is. "the first team to occupy the objective in the casualty phase alone wins".
Perhaps this wasn't a good idea, i think i will graciously back out. No hard feelings, it just didn't work out. Cheers!
The rule at our game table is that you have to play the scenario proposed even if you think its flawed or different than your version. When your turn comes to create the next scenario you will have a chance to re-create the scenario and fix the flaws if you wish. If you don't wish to create scenarios then you must accept what is proposed. Curt the official formations are ALWAYS welcome unless stated. Expanded rules will ALWAYS be used unless otherwise stated. NO custom cards unless both parties agree.
Axis Vs Allies 100 points, max 12 units Only 4 can be vehicles. Winner occupies objective alone in the casualty phase.
Axis Vs Allies 100 points, max 12 units Only 4 can be vehicles. Winner occupies objective alone in the casualty phase. We can call it our version of the Encirclement of Nancy and do USA Vs Germany.
I didn't read this scenario carefully enough and realize its pretty big with the USA at 254 points. It will take forever to play out with so many units and such a large map. It also has a severe points imbalance at 203 points Vs 254 points. maybe we should stick to lower points games unless its some kind of a tank on tank thing.
will you be able to see the hexes on the map? I hope it isn't too light. Mike sent me the HOW maps but I have no way of making a collage of the 6 maps. All I have MS paint, now that I am on windows 10 my old Photoshop software won't work properly anymore. We pretty much need pre-made maps to use.
Where we have added 32 points extra to your builds with the swaps would it be fair if we added 2 more Panzer IIIs and an extra Kfz 222 to my builds to keep the flavor of the scenario?
I am not trying to be difficult about this at all, forgive me if it seems so. A) Historically Correct B) Much better AV numbers for the Greyhound...Humber is 2/2/2 vs Greyhound 9/7/5 If you are agreeable to the swap, then I would rather take the Greyhounds & M1919 for this.
As I said, "If you think a Greyhound is a fair trade for a Humber go ahead and switch it out". Its just a game.
When you go home, tell them of us and say, For your tomorrows these gave their today. ~J.M. Edmonds
If you think a Greyhound is a fair trade for a Humber go ahead and switch it out. I see nothing wrong with playing these as published after all they should be balanced even though the armies are mixed.
**Edit - It just occurred to me this would be a great opportunity for you to revise the WoTC scenarios to include the units you mentioned before.
