I received my ships today, very fast shipping. The quality was superb. I did upgrade to the better resin, but most were still cheaper than Shapeways. Plus, and this is a big plus for me, Ghukek minis don't have that gritty feel that Shapeways does. I will definitely be ordering more. Hopefully he continues to expand that line. If there is any downside, is a rather limited selection, especially in planes.
I placed an order to check out the quality. I bought the M class German scouts and the P class prior from Shapeways and again from Ghukek to do a comparison.
Columbus, Ohio. I have one friend who is willing to play, though with the number of games we have it hits the table but rarely. The local FLGS is more a haven for MTG and Games Workshop younglings, and I have not seen anything naval played in a looong time.
Looking to build up my collection of AAM, or get some units for a friend for WaS. I have many board games, mini games (Bolt Action, Age of Sigmar, 40K, Konflikt 47, Dystopian wars (the new sets) and other stuff. Let me know if interested. I'm in the USA, Ohio to be specific. Also on the good trader list.
Are these still available? I have quite a bit of BA, German, SOviet, and American. Most if not all of an army is unpainted, the USA is still in the starter box.
Looking to purchase or trade for 4 or 8 IJN subs of the I classes. Can mix or match as long as they are the same size. I'll be repainting and using them as proxies.
This is for WaS. I don't think anyone makes a 1/900 AR-196 for the Germans, and the closest in shape I've seen if a Rufe. So trying to pic up a couple extras for a repaint.
Thanks very much! I have a number of the decks from Brigs and such, so will have to go thru them. Jintsu is way overpriced, Oi is specifically a torp cruiser, and that doesn;t lead a lot for light cruisers. Yahagi is about the best, but I think there is plenty of room for useful light cruisers in the IJN arsenal.
