Correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to recall a strategy section on the old forum? I'm assuming based on a quick search that this didn't make the transition? Someone had done a couple of really solid write ups on fleet types and BB vs BB match ups. Although a little dated due to the addition of team decks they were a good resource. Is strategy a section we want to explore having again? I think it would certainly help draw in new players and keep the interest going. Thoughts?
Not sure that you're wrong, but a look through the old Forum does not turn up something called Strategy in the WAS section. It appears all the sections were copied over, with the exception of Fleet Builds and Naval Research.
Those who don't remember their history are bound to do something or other...
Not sure which WAS moderator could be tasked with creating anew folder and copying over the Fleet Builds info. Ticat1, Awesome Ninja Pirate, SWO Daddy, Swizzle. One of them must have the authority. Then it's just copy and paste...

Vergilius was awesome! He was absolutely the best at gauging the power to cost value of a unit for tournament level play. He helped us a bit with the costing of Deck B, and was very involved with the costing of Deck C - which I think is the best deck we have done cost/value wise. Sadly for us, he had other priorities come up in his life after that.
RAEVSKI is very good at getting us to the right ballpark. The difficult cards are the units that have a potential to be "go to" competitive tournament play cards. The "scenario" cards aren't likely to break anything, but the "go to" cards are tricky. This is a common area where the development and playtesting teams can get into very extended and heated discussions. Vergilius was great at seeing the "broken-just right-useless" costing boundaries on power cards.

Agreed. I miss Vergilius. Had the pleasure of meeting him. A very nice man, I hope he doing well.
Quick question, Vergilius refers in the Fleet Building Guide to a "Dice Chart". I was unable to locate this in the old forum. Does anyone have it available? Thanks.
