So I just the other night was scrolling through W@S eBay lots, because what else would I be doing on a Friday night?
Anyways, I happened upon a VERY recently posted lot for $20 out of China. I started to investigate and discovered through picture and description that it contained:
Yamato Musashi Missouri Shokaku Zuikaku
and MANY other ships. Now naturally given that there was all this bounty for a mere $20 USD (and free shipping to boot), I quickly snagged it.
I do hope I am not getting scammed. Upon analyzing the photo I can see many of the ships listed in the description in the picture (albeit, the photo is poor quality). The seller also offers returns, which leads me to believe that I am not being scammed and I can get my money back.
What do you guys think? All evidence so far suggests it is legit, but I just can't wrap my head around the fact that this is all only $20.....
Additionally, I observed only Set I and II ships in the lot, which could explain the low pricing. This chap may have gotten into the game a LONG time ago, never played, and only now is getting around to getting rid of his stuff, not knowing its current value.
Good luck! Did it mention the cards, or just the miniatures? There have been some "pirate" WaS miniature lots out of China for sale that I assume were made through the "back door" with the molds. However, they always seemed to be common ships like DDs.

He offers refunds too. That leads me to believe that this can't be a simple "haha I got $20 out of you and you can't return whatever I sent sucker" situation. If this lot had been $100+, I would have been much more skeptical.
Not to Jinx you but I'm not too optimistic. I got 2 different BIN lots (1WAS,1AAM) 2 weeks ago that were too cheap to pass up with EBay's Buyer Protection plan! 2 days later I got a note from EBAY saying they removed the listings and both the sellers were no longer registered with EBAY, not obligated to pay if hadn't already but if already paid there was no reason to think the transaction wouldn't be completed normally. Are they F***** kidding me at that point? A quick call ( on hold for only 25 minutes) to my credit card company to try to cancel the charges. They credited both but are still awaiting a reply from one of the sellers (I can't really believe they got one from the other) so I'm not quite sure if the credits are final or not. I got no replies from either seller in regards to tracking numbers.
Sorry, I think this is a scam. I bought one of the early listings and keep receiving the same generic reply to my inquiries (this was about a month ago). Since then, the pattern keeps getting repeated with a variety of AAM, WAS, and Flames of War lots (sometimes they even use the same picture/description) being listed every couple of days. In each case it is a new eBay account with an insanely low BIN price and free shipping. I thought it was too good to be true when I bought the first lot, but figured I would take a chance with the eBay protection policy. I finally got fed up when I saw them list a product that I seen a couple months earlier on eBay and had looked into buying it (Flames of War). It looks like they are copy/pasting old listings.
I have been reporting every new listing I see at this point to eBay.
This is the response I have received on five different occasions when I asked if the package had been sent or if they had a tracking number-
