I volunteer with a railroad preservation group in Cleveland, OH. Although some days it seems more like a poor paying job than fun. Photography is my other big hobby.

Until 6 years ago I was pulling throttle for BNSF.
I also collect, build and play TANKS by Gale Force Nine and Battlefront. I run (up to 16km so far). I also do crossfit 3x a week. I'm up to 365lbs on my deadlift as of Friday.
I play a lot of board, miniature, roleplaying and video/pc games. Though often not as often as I would like. This also means a lot of painting, kit bashing, building and somehow storing... all the games and models. We like to go on hikes, as in full day or weekend/long weekend bush/nature hikes. When in the US recently, my partner and I really enjoyed doing day and overnight hikes in/around the Grand Canyon, Sequioa, Yosemite, Manua Kea (Hawaii). Local hikes in my state, Western Australia, too. I like to tinker with my car, a Ford Focus ST. Now 9 years old and the oldest (new) car I've owned. "new" as I've owned older thanks to buying a second hand old Ford as my first car a long time ago I get a lot of enjoyment being an active part of several Facebook community groups for various sci-fi miniature games, board games etc. A good spirit in many of these groups.
But the biggest thing on my mind at the moment, hobby/pastime wise is... planning and crafting a dedicated gaming table. It will be minimum of 6'x4', with many cool features to enable it to work as a dining table (and look innocuous) and as a gaming table - recessed board, drink holders, areas for dice and rulebook storage and during gameplay, felt playing surface etc. Might cost the thousands of $$ but it's hopefully going to be something that will last a long time.

I'm a runner, mostly for the sake of 5k's when I get the chance. I'm also an avid Magic the gathering player and been on the semi-competitive side for a few years, and I've been writing articles about it recently. In other words, WotC makes almost all of my favorite table top games, and I never have the time to play them enough!
I have three hobbies and when I do any one of them I wonder how I give time to the others. I war game WWII games and the War of 1812. I sail and I ride bicycles (both mountain biking and some road biking). I also cut firewood, which is really zen time for me, because I heat entirely with wood.
Audacity!
Every day I know less about WWII because every day I realise there is more to know!
Making videos for my YouTube channel and, I like to read Popular Science magazines, National Geographic and military themed magazines (International Warship Review, FlyPast, Aeroplane, Britain At War)
Erwin Rommel - "Give me American supply lines, British planes, German officers and Canadian troops, and I can take over the world".
For fun? Indoors, tabletop focused, I play War at Sea, X-Wing, Armada, have a whole bunch of Bolt Action to assemble and paint, DnD, and Edge of the Empire. I tend to prefer cooperative games rather than head-to-head games. On the computer, I play Smite, R6 Siege, World of Warships, and Andromeda. Outside, I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking, shooting, skiing, and biking. Hoping to go backcountry camping before I head back to school this year... just load up a kayak and head out to the Allagash Wilderness Waterway.
