761st Tank Battalion
The Black Panthers
"Come Out Fighting"
"Men, you're the first Negro tankers to ever fight in the American Army. I would never have asked for you if you weren't good. I have nothing but the best in my Army. I don't care what color you are as long as you go up there and kill those Kraut sons of bitches. Everyone has their eyes on you and is expecting great things from you. Most of all, your race is looking forward to you. Don't let them down and damn you, don't let me down!" -Gen George Patton

Air Power- Due to the winter conditions and fog, the Allied Air Forces were nullified and flew very little during the Battle of the Bulge. When they did fly, the pilots too extreme risks. As a result, on Turn 5 the Allied player gets a P-38 which can make 1 strafing attack. At the end of the attack it is removed from play.
Special Rules
1- When an M4A1 or M4A3E8 Sherman tank from the 761st is destroyed, roll a die: On a 1 or 2, the tank is removed at the end of the casualty phase. On a 3-6, remove the tank at the end of the casualty phase and replace it with a Thompson Gunner infantry unit. The Gung Ho & CA special abilities are not in play for this unit. This represents a dismounted crew fighting on with thier M3 SMG "grease guns."
2- M4A1 Sherman Tanks only- in the 761st Armored Division gain the Special Ability "All Guns Blazing" - After this unit attacks in the assault phase, it can make a second attack against an infantry unit.
3- Wafen SS Fuhrer Begleit Brigade infantry (soldiers) units gains the Special Ability: Hardened Veteran- This unit can move while Disrupted & can reroll 1 attack die per turn.
4- German Tanks get +1 to cover rolls due to being whitewashed to blend into the terrain they fought in.
Objectives:
Allied Victory: Drive the Germans out of Tillet and control 7 out of 10 Town Hexes by the end of Turn 8.
Axis Victory: Stop the Allied drive into Tillet. Kill over 50% of the Allied Force and hold half the town hexes by the end of Turn 8.
Map Setup-
Designer Notes: This scenario as been playtested once and some changes were made based on the results. I would love to have more feedback if you play this on your tabletop, since I will not get another playtest in for about a week.
Thank you, Snippersly
