Just noticed that Weeds had a post after mine above, then I quoted and posted an emoticon. After that I went back to edit my emoticon, went to delete it and I guess I deleted my post and Weeds post as well. That is weird and somewhat alarming that I delete his post as well.
Wait, that is incorrect, I think the post I was looking for was in a different thread. Tried to delete this post but can't. Sorry.
Wait this is not my office....lol Nevermind mate stuff happens....specially round ere.
Guys, great to be chatting with you all again, nothin I like more than talking products and such and stuff everyones workin on.

Beverly Hills Cop 2 if I'm not mistaken...
I'm working on some UK cruisers right now, specifically Manchester, Enterprise and Emerald. I bought the Seaforth press British & Commonwealth Warship Camouflage books an they've been exceptional resources.

I have those books too and I love them. However, some of the color interpretations are very controversial. His interpretations of some of the key RN colors is at odds with Alan Raven's RN camouflage books and with the Snyder and Short color chip "standards." I use Raven's (and almost everyone else's) colors, but Wright's camouflage patterns which are more extensive than any I have seen.

Yeah, I know there are colour controversies there, unfortunately Raven's books are a bit hard to come by
Right now, I've got an Alabama, Maya, Atago, Amagi, 2 Repulses, Elbe, Weser, Idaho, Wichita, and a whole handful of planes to paint up. Also need to finish my Essex paintjob and acquire South Dakota, Mississipi, Colorado, Maryland, and the New Yorks and Wyomings. Then my USN BB collection will be complete and I can start on CVs... D:
Also trying to further improve my terrain/island crafting, so I'll be working on that this coming week.
Yeah mate well that's work enough Dritt, I only have one still at home now, the other is in England, sure been missing her being about.
Hope everyone will post up some pics of their stuff, looking forward to that the most, Forumini has always been a great source of inspiration for me, and the stuff you guys do is fantastic to see.

Got a few conversions going myself, although I have never been much good with the exacto knife, whatever conversions I do are generally only minor ones, but I really want to build a new Rossbach out of a Richelieu again I sold my other one cause I needed the cash for another project. I also wouldn't mind playing around with another small conversion for the Ludzow or generally check out some blueprints for the Deutschland Class Pockets and see what small differences they had, make a few adjustments, then paint them up.
Is it just me guys, but is your "in box" always much higher then your "out box" in terms of projects on the work-bench? lol

It's not even close. And it isn't just you. I have scale modeler friends with half a basement filled with unbuilt kits. They could set up a hobby shop! And I have three boxes full of Shapeway's miniatures to paint. It will take a lifetime to paint them all at the rate I am going. But I keep buying more.

Recently bought some Royal Navy King George V Class County Class and Town Class WSF miniatures from Shapeways. They'll be painted by bretwhite while my 30 of Royal Navy destroyers are going under refit to Tigerman77. I am currently waiting on my 20 Fletcher Class destroyers to be returned to the fleet.
I'll be moving again at the end of the month so the fleet is all packed up and ready for the new headquarters.
