Yes but nothing defensively; very few fighters in the game with a 3 or more Gunnery attack under 10 pts.
I count 8 Allied 3 Axis and no IJN
We all have are ways to defend against certain builds or combat a unit type; i like a sub or 2 in my builds to do there thing, but if needed check your opponents subs,
Same with fighters look for escort with the ability to put a slow death on DD's; nice to use a 7pt [6pt with FM2]plane with 3 or better gunnery to cripple a 9pt DD or check a DD swarm.
