I am am looking to support financially some museum ships and naval museums as part of that. What are the best museum ships and naval museums to visit, and which ones do you know that need support?

Thanks for thinking about our museum ships! While I work on New Jersey two that I am donating towards this month are USS Kidd and and USS The Sullivans. Kidd is currently in drydock for some major work and SUlly is getting ready for a major drydocking. I consider both of those projects to be do or die for those ships.
Agree with The Sullivans could use help. It sank this year. But was thankfully was able to be raised. I hear USS Massachusetts BB 59 doesn't look great from reading comments on social media. I saw her in 2017 and you can explore the whole ship. An obscure one is LSIL 1091 located at Humboldt Bay, California. I came across this from an Instagram post by user of haze_grey_history. It's in the middle of no where and land developers want to send it away (sounds more like scrap) for new suburban houses, a half dozen volunteers trying to restore the landing craft. But criminals have stolen stuff or graffiti all over it.
