AAM Planes Options - Mig 3 & Fokker D XXI and many more

I play W@S as well as AAM.  Many of us W@S players use Flight Deck Decals for our carriers.   I recently picked up an extra MS 406 for my AMM Finnish force and part of my plans to mod it included getting some roundels from FDD that would work on the smaller original AAM aircraft (I dislike the larger planes even though they are scale). 


When buying the roundels, I decided to look at their 3D aircraft options and WOW!, they have options! I bought some 1/300 and 1/200 scale aircraft hoping the size wouldn't be too different from my AAM versions.  Once the planes arrived, it was evident the 1/200 scale was the best option.  See the images for a comparison with AAM planes.  

I enjoy the modeling aspect of the hobby, so I quickly painted up a Mig 3 and Fokker D XXI for my Soviet/Finnish battles.  I'm pretty happy with how they fit in with other AAM planes.  The scale is close.  For a total investment of 90 minutes and about $8, I have expanded my air forces.  

Other aircraft I'm working on now include:
MS 406 (no need to mod the original AAM mini now.  France keeps an extra plane)
Warhawk (Flying Tiger for my Chinese force)
Ilyushin IL-2 (USSR is escalating in Karelia)

Heinkel 115 (because the Soviets are escalating in Karelia)
Fw. 190 (I don't like the silver AAM version and I can create 3 for what one on eBay would cost me)

I thought I'd let other know you have low cost options, if you want to bust out of the confines of your current small AAM aircraft.
