About the Repaint Reference
The primary purpose of the Repaint Reference is to describe a selection of sisters of existing WaS mini's, so that players can name their duplicates and expand their fleets without buying or building custom mini's. The secondary purpose of this work is to provide links to references on existing units, cards for Repaint units, the WaS Class Limits, and the WaS Navies. As new sets are released, the lists will be updated to add the new sisters.
The project began as a fairly simple list of sisters, with old SA's swapped around and a few new SA's added in to suit their histories. Once jfkziegler started making actual cards, our helpful card making community got busy with corrections and suggestions for new SA's. So many that we had to make yet another list, the Guideline SA's, to keep track of them all.
At last count, the list included links to 478 cards by jfkziegler, 264 cards by ant_s, 109 cards by the Forumini Navy crew, and 16 revised cards by The_lucky_Y.
Where research revealed no clues for SA's, we have looked to R.B.'s example and innovated. Many of the SA's adopted on the Repaint Reference were suggested or corrected by various members of our community, and input is always welcome. Until units get cards, all costs and SA's are simply suggestions. If you see a mistake, or have a suggestion, please let me know. Thanks!
