Ito was an administtatove commander most of the war. His inclusion is wholly for Ten Go. Notably, he felt the operation to be folly but complied as it was his duty.
flagship ability to make a range 1 aa attack instead of using your main guns to represent yamato using the 18s as aa guns in her last battle
what about a movement sa for the fleet when the enemy captures an objective representing the final voyage his ships were sent on
I don’t mind either of these. The range 1 AA will probably need -1 or something..? Maybe something like “break up attack” that gives it 2 attacks one at range 1 at -1?

Hi! I’ve been lurking for a few months as a guest. I decided I wanted to try and contribute.
One of the main goals of Ten-Go was to have the ships beach themselves and act as shore batteries until they were destroyed. I wonder if there’s a way to have that reflected in a (fleet) ability for Seiichi Ito. Something along the lines of once per game, if a friendly ship would be destroyed that is adjacent to a coast in the enemy’s half of the map, the ship instead gets speed 0, and is considered crippled with one hull point remaining.

From the end of the phase, this unit suffers the effects of Crippled, has a Speed of 0, and cannot be damaged by Torpedo attacks for the rest of the game. (Marat)

Yeah! That’s just what I was thinking. Would that apply only to the flagship the commander is attached to, or could it be a fleet-wide ability, albeit possibly with a % chance of happening, say, 5+? That way a player can’t just park all their ships next to an island and get a zombie fleet. Fluff wise it makes sense for a fleet ability, but I could see that being too strong.
How about this revision, san shiki as a fleet bonus and gunnery platform as a flagship bonus.
