Trying to create a scenario for Japan/China & need some help with this SA for the T-26 Series 1933 Tank.
When it gets Disrupted, the counter never comes off according to the explanation. I assume it can still attack @ -1 on dice & -1 Defense until Destroyed though. However, has anyone tinkered with a solution to the SA Unreliable or has no one ever used China vs Japan. I know several of us use "House Rules" so I reckon maybe someone has tried something maybe.
I have changed "Lack of Determination" to "Green" for a bit more staying power for Chinese Infantry but this is still short lived for this scenario, the Japanese gain "Ruthless" so it's a bit of a wash.
If anyone wants to give advice on the SA's mentioned & if I should post the scenario & we can all have a go at creating it. It begins with some Japanese Bicycle Troops riding up to scout a village....they don't return to report...this must be investigated.
FAQ Set II - "This (Disrupted) counter isn't removed... ________________________________________ kippryon 12-30-2005, 07:46 PM From the T-26 Series 1933 & Wehrmacht Expert Sniper FAQ II entries:
T-26 Series 1933 says, “Unreliable — Face-up Disrupted counters aren’t removed from this unit at the beginning of the casualty phase.” Q: When can you remove Disrupted counters from a T-26? A: Unless you control another unit with an ability that can remove Disrupted counters, you won’t be able to remove Disrupted counters from a disrupted T-26.
Wehrmacht Expert Sniper says, Headshot — Once per game, instead of attacking a Vehicle, you may roll six attack dice. If you roll three or more successes, put a face-up Disrupted counter on that Vehicle. This counter isn’t removed at the beginning of the next casualty phase.”
So the question is:
What unit can remove a Disrupted counter from a Vehicle? ________________________________________ Y2UAsk 12-31-2005, 11:48 AM None, right now. Maybe an SA like that will appear in a future set. Now you know as much about it as me.

How come the disruption counter of a sniper headshot get to go away but not the one of the unreliable SA of the t-26 even if they have the same description on the game card.

They don't have the same description.
The T-26's Unreliable ability states, "Face-up Disrupted counters aren't removed from this unit at the beginning of the casualty phase" -- meaing that they aren't removed at the beginning of any casualty phase.
Headshot states, "This counter isn't removed at the beginning of the next casualty phase" -- which allows it to be removed in the casualty phase after the next one.

I read the previous post about the difference between Unreliable and Headshot, but what happens if a T-26 is Headshot? The two SAs conflict and neither one can apply the "can't" vs "can" tiebreaker.

There's no contradiction. Headshot doesn't state that the disruption marker must be removed in the second casualty phase. It just states it can't be removed in the first casualty phase. So Headshot places a face-up disruption marker that isn't removed during the first casualty phase from any tank. The T-26, because it's unreliable, never removes it.

This was a concern in the old forum. We worked on a different army list for China based on historical information and what unit was available in the game. Luckily, they only have to fight Japanese so no Tiger should be involved.
The only custom changes that was made on the official cards were on the officer and infantry.
More good info. I will also "House Rule" that Chinese infantry can be treated as "Green" regarding being Disrupted. I also have a fairly generous "Lend/Lease" or "Buys" that historically occured with China. WotC didn't really give them much help or chance in the design.
