These are some nice WW2 planes and accoutrements, of particular interest are: - Machine guns (gotta love 'em, especially when I was a wee lad) - Some classics: a P-40, an SB2C, a Hellcat, several shots of a Kingfisher - He-219 Uhu (a radar-equipped night fighter) - Many early helicopters (a recent fascination of mine) And more, hope you enjoy!

Envy, envy, envy. This was the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia, I'm guessing. My son took me on a road trip to Washington a few years ago, and we couldn't make it to the Center, but did see the National Air and Space Museum in DC. Seeing your photos makes me wish that we had done the side trip. But DC, there's so much to see and you never have enough time. Thanks for sharing highlights of your visit.

It is indeed the Udvar-Hazy Centre, you're certainly right about there too much in D. C. to see in one trip! I'm glad you enjoyed the photos and hope you get a chance to stop by there sometime

If you have not been, I am positive that you would love the Pima Air and Space Museum here in Tucson, AZ. They have both indoor and outdoor displays. Oh and the Pima Air and Space Museum was used as well as the Boneyard at DMAFB in a Transformer's Movie as well.
When Tyranny becomes law, then Rebellion becomes Duty.
I can recommend the Pima Air & Space Museum as well. It now has the Super Guppy & a B-36 as well as other gret displays indoors & outdoors. Visit during the fall to spring to be able to do the outside enjoyably.
