What about a capture sub SA for Perla...could it be done!
Obviously there is sub hunter for a routine SA, which is always a help with a speed 1 unit.
Just a case of not potentially entirely duplicating Sackville as well really.
Plus just thinking with a little bit of foresight that if we do another deck Starling has to be almost a cert now. So in terms of SAs for a similar unit, what that could potentially look like (sub hunter, fighting/killer instinct, Leader, determination).
Again it's going to depend on intended use. I'm still struggling to see it getting a lot of use as a speed 1 minesweeper without it being blown out of the water, one way or another.
The original SA could have been better in IMO (house rule!). The mine laying part of the mechanics works better than the sweeping side. Got to get to the mine and then it's no guarantee it's going to actually be swept after all that. A speed 2 platform at least would have a little more chance of getting you there. This on a fighting destroyer with a sweep is about all I can see to try and boost it.

I found a detailed breakdown of Hyaci ths history, and she was used in minesweeping ven if not specially equipped.
Special note, hyacinth was equipped with a 3" rather than the standard 4" main gun
What about trying to boost its gunnery. Something along the lines of rapid fire or opening salvo.
I'd still say any Mine sweeping attempt on this should be as an additional extra really. We've changed the unit but nothing else has changed on the card. No sub hunter?

On the morning 6th of October, 1942, HMS Crocus detected the U-333 by radar and raced to engage. Exchanging close range gunfire. Wounding the U-333's commander and killing the second in command. Not satisfied, Crocus rammed the submarine twice before it submerged and slipped away hounded by Crocus's depth charges
I'd like to propose another change here. HMS Petunia was transferred to the ROC navy january 1946. Alongside the hawk and Yoashima, Petunia would be a candidate for a ROC roundel in the fluff. Petunia actually looks to have a more exciting career than her sister too
