About the Axis & Allies reboot

So, the transfer of the Axis & Allies franchise to Renegade Studios has some people excited that there may be a reboot of the A&A miniatures line.
On the face of it, it looks like Renegade is more about board games than miniature games, but they do produce some miniatures.
I wrote to the company, asking for clarification, and this is what they said:
Hi Bill,
Thank you for your interest and feedback! We don't have anything to share about this at this time, but encourage you to sign up for our newsletter and join us in our social communities to be sure to hear about all our future announcements!

So, no loose lips on the Renegade team (apparently, I did not connect directly with a renegade).
But we keep hoping...
