Nice work on the He 111s. I'm a big fan of Armaments in Miniature, even if I can't convince him to make a Gloster Gladiator... How did you get such a nice finish on the glass on the He 111s? Well done.
Those who don't remember their history are bound to do something or other...
I agree, Bill does great work at ArmamentsInMiniature. Perhaps AltEndingGames on Etsy might have Gladiators? Thank you for your note on the 111s. As for glass, I did the overall green first, then went over the panes with gloss black. I ended up using a toothpick sharpened with a pocketknife, half a drop of paint at a time so it would not be either too thin or too runny.

These next planes come from an ace-heavy guards squadron, the 9 GIAP. The paint schemes shown are for their La-7s. They were flown by: CO Vladimir Lavrinenkov (17), Pavel Golovachev (23), Amet-Khan Sultan (24), and N.G. Ostapchenko (72).
For today, here are some B-17s from the 322 Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group. These are the Testors models that some other folks on the forum have also made use of. Customizing these amounted to painting over the red on the horizontal stabilizers of the tail, then adding fuselage codes and nose art. They were flown by: David Hanst (LG-Y, "Hikin' For Home"), Robert Marlow (LG-B, "The Biggest Bird"), and Thomas Smith (LG-T, "Fifinella").
Next, here are some Finnish MS.406s from 1/LeLv 14. They were flown by Kullervo Virtanen (7), Aaro Nuorala (11), and two other pilots that are unknown to me (10 and 14).
Up next are some Yak-9s (proxied from Yak-1 minis). They are from the 6th GIAP, and were piloted by: Mikhail Grib (22), Ivan Belozerov (26), Boris Akulov (30), and Vladimir Voronov (31).
