Hi all! Once upon a forumini, I had a set of repaints that I'd created. My thanks to boomerbill for having migrated many of them over from the old site to here.
Since that time, I've done a few rounds of photo shoots with dozens of my repainted aircraft (some familiar, and some brand new). I hope folks enjoy seeing them as much as I did painting them! I plan to post a new set with some regularity.
To start off, here are are a few of my AAAF "pride and joy," my P-51Ds from the 487th FS piloted by George Preddy (HO-P), John C. Meyer (HO-M), William Whisner (HO-W), and Dean Huston (HO-L).
A full, matching flight! Now that's some serious firepower! Really nice work, loving the 'kill' marks.
Thank you very much - I'm glad you like them! I try to do all of my repaints in flights - something about it is striking to see matching ones on the table
Next up are another favorite paint job of mine - this time, from the Luftwaffe. These FW 190As are from 1./JG1: Bernhard Künze (White 1), Ralph Hübl (White 5), Heintz-Gunther Luck (White 9), and Georg Schott (White 11).
Next up are some more 1/100 kits that I made for the game. Here are a few B-29s from 1BS (very heavy) along with an ArmamentsInMiniature P-47 for scale:
Piloted by Dean Fling (#2), William Barnhart (#3), and E.F. Shenefiel (#4)
