An attempt at the McClelland Barclay experimental camouflage

I have wanted to try this ever since I first saw an article on the Second World War painter McClelland Barclay and his attempts to sell the U.S. military on his use of razzle dazzle camouflage, used on ships in the First World War.
The dazzle camo was used on a number of aircraft, including the P-51, but it is unclear if these efforts ever flew in combat zones.
I chickened out on trying to mix up my own shades of green for this, and opted for brown tones on this Brewster.
I imagine that this aircraft was on tour of U.S. military bases in the Pacific when war broke out, and it was forced to participate in a combat mission. Never happened, but this is a game, right?
One of the lessons from this project is that the incised panel lines on the AAAF aircraft are deep! When you paint large areas, the "bleeding" of the paint into the panel lines isn't quite so obvious, but when all that is required is a thin line, the line appears to be rife with tiny projections of colour when the aircraft is held at certain angles. Straight on usually doesn't look too bad, but from an angle, well....
