What about Warspite escorted by USS William D. Porter?
Warspite's soul would probably decide to jam her rudder to ram and sink Willy P as a self defense move.
Replace the cruiser with Mogami, and you would have quite a trio :-)
This also prompted me to consider how big a W@S sector is (relative to ships). Judging by the size it looks like you could fit a lot of ships in 5000 x 5000 yard sector; here's a picture of Norfolk harbour (circled are two US Supercarriers), with the large square being exactly 5000 yards in length. I realise the map puts some practical limits with the map size, but its seems like you could fit a lot more than 3 ships in a sector

I’ve always wish RB hadn’t given W@S a scale. The game is already too abstract to attempt to make it accurate.

LOL
When you closely at the minute of the war at sea (and everywhere else), I think more self damage and problems were caused internally by the balls ups of one type or another, than the by the enemy!
This pic reminds me a bit of the CGI you get in films/docs or games. A load of units aircraft/ships all charging round practically on top of one another and looking totally unrealistic. Why do they do it? Less would be more.
