So having just re-watched the film The Silent Enemy this ship slapped me across the face!

The film deals with Olterra's hidden launching and attacks by Maiali manned torpedoes on Gibraltar and the defence of (Commander Crabb).

Not sure if this has been mentioned recently but I can't remember seeing it in the votes. Probably too late for this deck but one for the future.

I'm struggling to think of an Italian unit that would excite me more at this stage.

-Multiple Maiali attack capability

-Disguise

-Hidden operations

-Island/Harbour deployment

Would dove tail nicely with Scire.

PS. And just what did happen to Commander 'Crabby'?

I have a backlog of cards I've been making that I've meant to put up on the forum, but Olterra was one of them! Here's my take on her:

Abandoned Wreck: This unit can deploy in any island or coastal sector on the map.
Commando Raid 2 (see Sciré)

It even got to see some gameplay last week against the USSR, where it missed all for commando raid dice (though that was also the game where Italian TBs whiffed for a good five or six turns trying to damage Soyuz)
