Hi all! Here's to a great 2022. So what's on everyone's workbench?
For me, I've got some more XPForge miniatures to paint up like my Mutsu, Graf Zepplin, Haruna, Tennessee 1939, and Crown Colony cruiser.
I've got two new what-if builds basically done, the USS Proctor and the Italian 'Boscawen'. (two more designs I found from Hybrid Warship: The Amalgamation of Big Guns and Aircraft by RD Layman) Pictures of these will be coming soon.
In the future I'm planning to scratchbuild myself the old Japanese battleship Settsu (in her WWII upgrade) and maybe even a Chinese battleship (possibly a modernized Dingyuan class ironclad)
Right now I am working on a batch of Canadian Hudsons. I am not sure what mini I will paint next.
I returned to scale modeling a few years ago and I am just finishing up a 1:72 scale F-35B from Italeri. It was a very nice kit, but the stealth pattern took me a month to mask off for painting. I am going to do a Hasegawa Datsun 240Z next.

You sure you want to scratch-build that? I've been meaning to get in touch with TZoli to see if he'll let me turn some of his great What-If's into 3D models. If you want to commission the design I'll go see if I can get permission.
