Only a few days left so. I wanted to reiterate the coming steps of the deck development process.
3. Team review of nominations -a. This ensure unit are withing parameters of the game: -b. Power scale : Nothing more powerful than(tsushima/corsair ect) or less powerful than(daihatsu/walrus ect) -c. Four ability criteria, if a unit requires more than 4 SA to function (because of role, base stats ect it is ineligible) 4. Second round of nomination by polling
So, towards weeks end. I'll collate all the nomination posts into a single list. With the team, we'll remove the things outside our guidelines and arrange the list into groups for polls. My general expectation is to do polls which indicate an estimate number to slots dedicated for that nation/s or classification and invite you to select up to that number of units in a multi select poll. It isnt "first past the post" nomination but a weighting of support which will assist in selection of the deck as whole
When it comes to nominating the units, will they have some sort of historical/gaming description to help decide where to vote(I was going to do this with my own but saw nobody else really had, and seem to remember this additional info was included a lot more last deck). The main unit suggestion thread only has the basics really. I have been doing some research on others suggestions and adding some to my own but a lot has been listed!. I'm actually surprised by how widespread/obscure these have been, they will take some sorting out.

Update, after reviewing the nominations the team intends to automatically include these units based on the strong support in round 1 nominations.
+4 Tarpon - Torpedo Bomber - UK +5 BF 109 - Fighter - Germany +5 USS Hornet CV 8 - Carrier - United States (non Doolittle) +7 Curtiss Hawk (Widely Exported) - Fighter - USA
A big Hurrah! for a non-Doolittle Hornet!
+1
It was the one obvious unit left in my view that needed a re-do. Some of the other mentions for op. variants, I'm not really sure about.
Also I hope the UK air slots can be kept to a minimum this deck. With the C 47 I think it got one more than was needed last time and has generally done well in that department previously. With what's being discussed, I'm not sure how impacted the normal nation slot numbers are going to be and still a lot of good non aircraft choices to be had here.

Some more input will be needed as a guide in the near future. The team is just discussing the broad strokes vision for things. Which will guide how we'll approach getting that feedback.
I recently found out that the Yamato class had sonar and that the Musashi was fitted with depth charges. Maybe a Musashi variant with subhunter and ASW attack? Wouldn't that keep the subs away LOL.
Maybe I should have kept that one for April Fools :-)
