Hello everyone! A couple of weeks ago I did a complete inventory check on my W@S collection; it took a while! I organized it all by types of units/classes. For some of the classes of ships/subs i didn't have, I decided to make a few custom cards to represent at least one unit of the select classes. I get most of my research/info from (U-boat.net, Wikipedia, Navypedia, and Osprey books). Here are two Royal Navy (RN) subs I made cards for, enjoy:
HMS Severn (N57)
Thames/River-class Submarine 1939
Statistics:
Commissioned: 12 Jan. 1935
Decommissioned: 23 Dec. 1944
Displacement: 1, 830 t/s-surfaced
Length (OA): 345 ft.
Beam: 28 ft, 3 in
Speed: 22/10 kts surfaced/submerged
Armament: 6 x 21 in TT (6 bow),
12 torpedoes, 1 x 4 in, 1 x 20 mm AA,

History:
HMS Severn was launched in 1935 as the 2nd Thames class
fleet sub. At the outbreak of WWII, Severn served with
the 1st Sub Flotilla in the Mediterranean. During the
Norwegian campaign, she was employed on interception
patrols (this involved searching for U-boats, surface raiders
and blockade runners). In May 1941, while serving with the
8th Sub Flotilla, she sank two IT merchants. For the remain-
der of her service, she served again on interception patrols.
In Jan. 1944, she joined the 2nd Sub Flotilla of the Eastern
Fleet located near Sri Lanka.

Parthian/P-class Submarine 1939

Decommissioned: 30 June 1944

Beam: 30 ft.
Speed: 17.5/9 kts surfaced/submerged
Armament: 8 x 21 in TT (6 bow, 2 stern),
14 torpedoes, 1 x 4 in, 1 x 20 mm AA,
2 x 12.7mm MG’s
History:
HMS Proteus was one of only 6 Parthian-class long-range
patrol subs to survive the war. Proteus started her
service in China but transferred to the Mediterranean in
1940, where she was based in Alexandria (Egypt). While
in the Mediterranean Theatre, she conducted an
impressive 15 war patrols and sank 17 German and
Italian merchant ships, troopships, tankers and MTB’s.
