What do you mean about "detail?" This is not for the best looking miniature, but for what you think is the best looking REAL battleship.

Sorry over looked that one; but since the only WW2 BB I was on was Missouri; I can only go by what i've seen in Books or Video; not really that much on Yamato but from what i've seen
till number one to me

I like Richelieu as well. My favorite is definitely Yamato, though.

Personally always liked their look, the WAS model does not give them justice. Considered making a sculpt of each on Shapeways, but not sure if there would be any interest.
