Has anyone made a card for the planned refit for HMS Hood?

I don't believe a modernized Hood has been done. The "Team's" Operation Catapult Hood righted some wrongs in the original card, but its not a modernized version. Brigman's version, while light-hearted in wording, it a perfectly functional card, but also reflects Hood's pre-war stats (same as Op. Cat. Hood, but no Chase or BB Leader).
If I were to make one, I'd start with the Operation Catapult Hood and follow the model of QE/Valiant/Renown. From what I've seen, Hood would have gotten a similar treatment atleast in superstructure and secondary armament to those ships. That would lead to a Bristling with Guns armament with a revised, smaller secondary battery and 8 AA. I'd need to do some digging to see if anything was planned that would have given Hood better underwater protection than QE and Valiant, if the torpedoes would have been retained (I believe they were on Renown), and if anything was planned to bring it up to QE's level of armor protection (getting the Vital up to 14). Depending on the projected year in service, you might be able to justify a firepower enhancing SA like Radar Fire Control in Vanguard, or something like it, instead of the BB Leader SA. I think that's easier to do honestly if the improved version has a 1942 or later date, but there might be other options.

Now I want to go do a little reading...
This is exactly what I had in mind. Could you maybe make me a custom card for it? I would be thrilled as I'm a huge fan of your decks!! If so let me know if I can be of any help in the research process.

From wiki (often not the most reliable source, but quick and dirty)...
Hood was due to be modernised in 1941 to bring her up to a standard similar to that of other modernised World War I-era capital ships. She would have received new, lighter turbines and boilers, a secondary armament of eight twin 5.25-inch gun turrets, and six octuple 2-pounder pom-poms. Her 5-inch upper-armour strake would have been removed and her deck armour reinforced. A catapult would have been fitted across the deck and the remaining torpedo tubes removed. In addition, the conning tower would have been removed and her bridge rebuilt.

That all seems to line up with other stuff I've read/heard on the matter... think you could make a card for her?

In fairness, we're still tweaking Pride of the Fleet. I bare the majority of the blame for the SA. My intention: For the slow rolls or Jammed Mount, you still roll every turn. The SA just allows you to ignore the impact of those SAs next turn. Not sure the wording is 100%.
Costing on this unit is also a little tricky. Compared to ship like the Italian V Veneto, I think its about right. Compared to Queen Elizabeth, its probably too high. I do think this is a slightly better ship overall that KGV, despite its great vulnerability. Brigs and I could be talked into 52 points.
Thanks Jim. Brigs and I have been talking about a playtest game, but I think we're largely settled on this ship. The SA is a little gamey, but hell...its the Hood.
