Looking on the Gale Force 9, I found "World of Tanks", 15MM vehicles seems to be to only thing in common to "TANKS", only 4 countries, USA, UK, USSR & Germany as well as several expansions into some experimental/more modern tanks and some Self Propelled Artillery, Platoon Packs of 3 tanks for each country & upgrade cards with crew & equipment modifications to cancel Critical Hits at times & other interesting things going on. Not so much WW2 as it is more machine & initiative vs the dice & your opponent. The dice are different as well...3 blank sides, 2 "Hit" sides & 1 "Critical Hit" side with cards for further possible damage & unpleasntries included.
The models come assembled & 1 color painted, Grey/Germany, Green/USSR, Brown/UK, OD Green/USA. Turret to Body fit is variable. some snug & don't fall off, others are way loose but overall good looking & AAM minis are a nice size match as are Miniature Tank Co. 3D prints....yes my friends, I have gotten into this game & it is different but fun for sure. The creation of Platoons is also possible. 5 types of vehicles, Light, Medium & Heavy Tanks as well as Tank Detroyers/Assault Guns & Self Propelled Artillery & Special Ammo...lotsa neat things & more of a "What If" format of play, since it allows for combat between any & all tanks in the game, no national alliances it seems, just machines & friends going at it...lol
I do recommend looking into the "World of Tanks" section of the Gale Force 9 site for more info.
Our game group plays GF9 Tanks here too. We have the original set based on WWII combat. All the models I have you could get individuly and needed assembly with many detail options available. all the models then were made by FoW who is now starting to offer models in plastic. I'm going to get the Italian Platoon of M13/40s in the near future.
This is a cobbled together mini I made from leftover pieces and parts. Opel Blitz search light truck. Not sure how it will fit into the AAM game yet but, Something will come up for a card.
