Here is the report from the three player Partisan/German game that I just finished:
The objective was to destroy enemy units (VP= cost of destroyed units) . The German player could also get VP points equaling units that traveled across the map. *none succeeded* The Partisan forces were required to shoot at enemy Partisans if they were closer than German units.
Maps: 3 X EF # 16/16/14 (l to r) These maps have a continuous road across with shell holes in the middle of #'s 16.
Forces:
German Convoy: Hammy Pioneers X 2 PAK 35/36 K-98 X 5 MG-34 X 2 Recon BMW Opel truck X 6 Sdkfz 251 X 2 HQ Ammo Dump X 2 Fuel Depot Mine field X 4 Barbed wire X 4
Yugo Partisans: Commander X 2 Partisan X 6 Captured Italian L6/40 Captured Italian L3/35 Captured Canonne 75/27 Captured Breda Modello LMG UK supplied Vickers MGT UK supplied Bren gun Pill Box X 2 AT obstacle
Communist Partisans: Commissar Communist Partisans X 8 Cossack Cavalry X 4 Maxim MG PTRD-41 AT rifle T-26 Series 1933 (China) Pill box X 2 AT obstacle
Results: German VPs = 54 (13 Communist + 41 Yugo) Yugo Part VPs= 40 (7 Communist + 33 German) Comm Part VPs=73 ( 9 Yugo Part + 64 German)
If the German controller dismounted support units they applied to the fighting force but could not remount or exit. These were used to great effect but were ultimately all destroyed. 2 cossack cavalry were able to ride behind the German lines and destroy 23 pts of support (HQ, fuel and ammo)
Lots of missed rolls by all three players, and very winnable for anyone.
I would play this again and recommend it to the forum.
