This is a custom card being designed for my Strike North Campaign Scenario which I will be GMing during the upcoming MaizeCon in Waterloo, IA happening in October 2018. There are plenty of card designs already out there by such esteemed individuals as Sharpe, Thor711 and ObstbfEgon. I'm using them as starting points for my own versions. Some have been left entirely intact and others I have modified to my own purposes.
Looking for feedback. What do you think? Is it balanced in terms of cost? Any concerns or questions?
Once I have enough comments / feedback giving approval I will produce the unit card and post it here.
PzKpfw NbFz VI
Nationality: Germany
Vehicle - Tank
Year available: 1940
Cost: 12
Speed: 2
Defense: 2/2
AI: 7/7/6
AV: 10/9/8
Overlapping Fire - This unit can make defensive-fire attacks against soldiers.
Extra Machine Guns - In your assault phase, this unit can make an extra attack against a Soldier.
The Neubaufahrzeug series of tank prototypes were a first attempt at creating a heavy tank for the German Army. Multi-turreted, heavy and slow, only 5 were ever built. Three of them saw limited use during the 1940 Norwegian Campaign.
*************************
The closest tanks in the AAM inventory that are like this unit are the Soviet T-28 and T-35.
Historically two guns were mounted side by side inside the Neubaufahrzeug's turret (A 75mm and a 37mm). Not sure how to properly simulate this. I can't imagine they were fired at the same time. One card design I found simulates this with the following special ability: Additional Cannon - This unit can make a second attack against vehicles using 9/7/5 attack dice.
