Well, if i had to guess I'd say this Godzilla is probably more like 1:000 scale. War At Sea ships are 1:1200 and this Godzilla is actually a little larger than he should be.
To give you and idea, this is Godzilla with a modern cruiser:
I happen to have this ship at about the right scale.
So if you want to make a Godzilla for WAS you'd want to start with a smaller figure. Mine is about 4 inches. It kind of depends on what version of Godzilla you want to use too. The original Godzilla is only about 50 meters. The 1990s one I'm using is meant to be 100 meters tall. So an even smaller figure would be ideal to capture true scale.
I didn't remember Super X being so "blobby." I guess they were going for the Saucer look. Super X2 somewhat reminds me of Thunderbird 2. (Your next AAR?) Super X3 obviously has the aircraft cool factor. WaS ships are 1:1800 scale and aircraft are 1:900 scale.

Boomerbill: Would it shock you to hear that the buildings in the pictures only represent a fraction of all the buildings I possess?
Most of the city buildings are made out of paper. I put them together myself over weeks and weeks of printing, folding, and gluing. I remember the forum members used to say that Axis and Allies minis were plastic crack. I had to fill the void after they stopped making them.
Weeds: Yeah, the first Super-X had a very UFO look to it. But it was grey in the movie, not silver.
You know what I think you are right about the scale. I tried to hastily look up a reference for scale and it said 1:1200, but now that I think about it 1:1800 makes more sense. I should have dug out my old WAS rulebook instead of using a search engine online. Anyways, Godzilla scales up better with the planes, though still too big, so I guess 1:850 or so is probably a better estimate for him.
Waratsea4: You have to watch out, those Japanese can be sneaky.
Swizzle: Ha, looks familiar. I think I helped come up with stats for that card back when the forum was still on the other website.
Ticat1: I have more cities..... many more in fact. I just have not built them all yet. For instance, downtown LA:
Capt. Strange: If you like that layout, then you outta enjoy this too:
Still a bit under construction at the far end of the map..........

This is just way too cool! This is the project that I have been working on since I found this game a couple years ago. I have been working on it ever since. I have a million questions. I will start with the simplest. How big is the layout? I was planning on a 4X4 sheet but I thought maybe I might have to expand it to 6X6 or 4X8
