This week you guys selected two destroyer escorts/escort destroyer/torpedoboats. USS England was voted into the deck by the entire board while Jaguar was chosen by the development team.
USS England is our first Buckley class destroyer escort in the game. Probably the most iconic USN DE class and the most numerous. ASW Patrol will hopefully help her get into action.

The Germans and the French continued to call their smaller destroyers "torpedo boats" in WWII. Jaguar was one of the second group of torpedo boats built shortly after WWI. After this class the Kreigsmarine started using numbers starting with the letter "T" to name their torpedo boats. We already have T27 in the game from WotC. However, the "T" series were a new design and not considered to be very successful. These were very busy ships used mainly in the North Sea, English Channel, and around the Atlantic coast of France. They were most often used as convoy escorts and had a great many skirmishes with British coastal forces during the course of the war.
