Hey guys, big news. At the end of the year I will be leaving USCGC TANEY and Historic Ships in Baltimore where I was site manager and moving to Philadelphia to be assistant curator of USS NEW JERSEY. You should come up and visit sometime after the new year.
Didn't realize NJ was in Philly. Much easier to access than Missouri! Been interested to see Gettysburg as well. 8 hour drive but with two things to do would make a great long weekend

Congrats! Thats way cool. My dad and I volunteered during the initial restorations, painting and cleaning etc. He still goes a couple times a year just to hang out if'n I'm not mistaken. Mayhaps, I'll see ya around when I go up to visit him.
Wow, I had opportunity to visit the NJ a few years ago with Firehouse who drove with me for a gaming weekend in Lancaster and Sgt Fury who is local to the Philly area. What a treat to be able to spend your working days there!
