Hope it's okay to post this here. I've used Torpman's ship silhouettes for camo and color references quite a bit. In fact, I saved all of them for that purpose. Thought they might be useful here. There are 24 weeks of ships total and I've included Torpman's intros. I hope Torpman will forgive the impertinence me posting these on his behalf. Maybe if he joins the new forum he will add to his works. Enjoy a little blast from the past. Happy modeling!
If this isn't a good place to post these, maybe weeds or another admin can move them where they belong.
Starting now, Every week I will post a full color pictures to help you paint your ships, (Or for you to enjoy in general) I will post a picture of up to 8 ships from various theators. They are done as best as I can color wise and might be slightly off. It they are I will have that noted in the infor section on the ship. I really hope you guys like them as they are done from hours of research and then they take up to an hour a piece to color. To start I will be covering 6 full color ABDA destroyers from Dec 1941 to the end of ABDA in Feb 1942 that are peiced together from various partial photographs. They are all as close to the real thing as I can do. If you want addition info on where I got the pictures PM me and I will give you the links you need.
Anyway I think I am boring you so lets get to the good stuff.

Hey guys its a new week and thus its time for another establishment of ships of the week. Smile Today I give to you more ABDA and some German ships. For the ABDA I just want to say Abraham C and its sister are easy mods from an Antilope. Just lower the front deck and move the Main Gun to the stern and delete the TTs. Burnie is a simple mod from Hayclon. Don't ask about Tromp becasue that takes hours.
Anyway enjoy!

Here they are. Of note is Cape Bon. I could find no pictures or evidence for that matter of the Italian ships wearing camouflage that said that does not mean they did not. If you have information on possible camo for them please let me know. Anyway enjoy.

Its time for some Japanese. Here is some of the camo designs that they would have worn during WW II. I know a lot of you will be interested in them. Enjoy.
Also I know this is a a little early for it but I am working a charity BBQ tomorrow so I will be gone all day.
Hi all. I was late with last weeks edition so to pay you guys back this weeks will be early. First of all why is it special? Well it is because I am now doing planes on occasion now. Anyway this weeks is over Force Z. Force Z is extremely unique as all the ships carried completely different camo from Alexandria dazzle to Western Approaches styles. This makes for a very flavorful selection. HMS Prince of Wales was extremely difficult as everyone seems to disagree what she looked like. After a long search the following is what it would have looked like. Making the side profile of the ship was extremely difficult and it took like 2.5 hours for me to do making it my longest work ever

Sorry I always wanted to say that. Anyway here is part 11 of the series. It is on Soviet warships. This ones was especially hard finding any pictures of Soviet ships in camo and WHH really helped me alot with it so everyone please give him a big hand, because he made this possible.
Ok yes its another ABDA one. But there is a reason why I am doing so many of these. The pictures and information needed to make this was insanely harder to find than in any other theater. (Especially HMS Encounter) Also this with a 50/50 chance will be my last ABDA one. So anyway...
Enjoy

Here is part 14 guys. On a quick note I just want to say I am sorry about the way the gun barrels turned out on Vincennes. Because man are those ugly. Confused I don't know what happened. Anyway I hope you all like this one on Midway.
