Feel free to disregard this idea. I sell a bit on eBay, but I don't consider myself an expert. When people search, they tend to use key word searches. And in some cases, the full title might not show up. My recommendations are: 1. List Key Words first 2. List the Center Pieces of the group you are selling in the listing. In some cases, people are looking for specific pieces and sometimes searching generally. I don't get a consistent experience from eBay that it will pick up the item name from the item description vs. the listing title.
I looked at one of your listing with a Shore Battery, a primo piece. Look at the adjustment I made.
Example (Your Listing): Complete in original wrappers War At Sea Set 6 [ Surface Action ] GERMANY ITALY New Example: NIB Axis Allies War at Sea Shore Battery Bismarck Andrea Doria + More Germany Italy
There are a couple of other Forumini members that sell on EBay and use the key words in title too. Best of luck with the sale. You have some great pieces available. You mentioned you were new to eBay, so I thought I'd offer up my tips.
I don’t know why I was having trouble finding them. They came up when you posted them in a saved search but then I couldn’t find them after you posted here.
You have the ship names in the description but you might want to put the prefixes on also (HMS, USS). If I just search for HMS Nelson but you don’t have the HMS it won’t come up.
