What kind of release schedule do you have for these. I see a bunch more decks since you last posted. If I wait a month to order will there be a lot more?
Do you recommend keeping the cards for the various battle sets separate or is it ok to sort all the decorations together and all the damage together, etc.?
Do you have a recommendation for binder sleeves or another storage option for this size cards?
I don't have a schedule so much as I am making them as quickly as possible. Recently, I slowed down just a little because I am working on my next big scenario package: Ice & Steel. Ice & Steel is going to focus on the battle of North Cape. I think this scenario will be interesting because I'm putting out a bunch of Merchant Marine cards in the mix. This is so that the Germans will have some targets in the convoys. I don't know exactly how balanced it is yet as a game/scenario yet. So I'm sending it out to playtesters. In fact, I just finished sending pre-production packages off to playtesters. So, now I can go back to working on my Task Force project.
Each Task Force is a set of 18 cards for a specific navy from a specific year. I expect to put at least one of those a week for quite some time. To answer your question: Decorations are just generic situational bonus cards. They reset each game and there is no need to sort these with specific ships. Capability Cards on the other hand are a little more ship specific. For example, Long Lance applies to certain Japanese vessels.
But all cards in the game are "mini" cards. That is to say they're about half the size of a poker card. They are small by design. That's so, they can be placed face down on the table when vessels are "over the horizon" / hidden. Using a face down card, the opponent won't know what ships you have where. I still enjoy A&A WaS but I'm so used to F&F that at least for games that involve carriers and hidden movement, I just can't go back in any way.
