The regular convoy games have always generally been a weaker aspect of the game in contrast to angels 20 where the B-17 bomber game scenarios are generally among the most fun. Part of the problem is the weakness of individual convoy ships perhaps the solution is to create a card that represents an entire convoy of auxiliaries that is statted more durable and less vulnerable to attack as the ships are working together , could have unique characteristics like occupying an entire sector or 2, being able to be escorted by adjacent units etc and increased vital cargo, troop landing type special abilities to make it more of a factor. As a proxy on the map for the one card you could have it represented by 5 or 6 auxiliaries and as it takes damage you remove them 1 per hull damage. Would be a throw back to Richard Bakers original idea for the game to involve task forces.
