What would you think of extending operations to the German Fi167. This carrier would also have the possibility for ASW capabilities then and has at least a historical background due to the coordination and cooperation between the German and Italian carrier concepts.
Sorta sits outside of our project scope. Unless your applying historical restrictions, you can do that anyway.
Im fairly certain rav would love a croation fi167 card at some point

Stuka operations: as written (ju87b & ju87p) or inclusive of ju87D (+1 Armour,+1 bomb, mines, 1943 entry)
Freccia Operations - The G.50 Freccia may base on this unit
Improvised ASW - instead of thier normal attack, aircraft based on this unit may make a 2 dice ASW attack in the air attack step
*Presumptive medium aa equivalent to recontructed conte cavour class shios, 4x Twin 100mm AA, minimal light calibre AA
Playing catchup on this thread. And I have a couple of question on this unit as we are discussing names. 1) What year are we thinking about for this unit? 1940? 2) Why are we considering the ju87D? Shouldn't we be considering the Ju87R2 Picchiatelli, an Italian 1940 unit (and their only dive bomber)? Or am I missing something and they're the same unit? 3) Since most Italian aircraft are fighters, why not consider Expert Dogfighter? 4) Why not focus on one SA to allow Italian aircraft on this unit, such as: SA: Italian Air Operations: The G.50 Freccia and Ju87R2 Picchiatelli may base on this unit. Both are 1940 Itallian aircraft one a bomber and the other a fighter, these units will most likely be replaced in 1942 by the RE.2001 Falco II and RE.2001CB Falco II
So with my thoughts, the unit would look something like:
------------------------- Carrier Albatro - 1940 Speed 2 Cap 1 Mg 4 4 3 AA 6
A5 V11 V4
SAs: Italian Air Operations: The G.50 Freccia and Ju87R2 Picchiatelli may base on this unit. (Possibly add: they may benefit from the Expert Dogfighter from this unit.) Expert Dogfighter: Once per turn, you may choose a friendly Fighter. That Fighter rolls one extra attack die when making Antiair attacks this turn Improvised ASW - Instead of their normal attack, aircraft based on this unit may make a 2 dice ASW attack in the air attack step -------------------------
Also with a Red vs. Blue scenario any Axis aircraft that isn't land-based can use it, so I'd personally prefer not to see two SAs tied to allowing units unto it.
The ju87D came out after the last variation of stuka ops that was modified allow both ju87b and ju87r2-p. Armour 5 is(at least in my mind) the competitive default and only D-model stuka has it. Its more an errata thing
Not looking to tear ya down but my thoughst are,
The Painlieve has wildcat + dauntless. I dont think extra value is added consolidating the SAs.
As comparable ships go, this has the most in common with Bearn.
EDF would only apply to the classic folgore and the dedicated carrier(42+) fightes. Everything else is Land Fighter.
On the operations, We need to be clear on which units are included. So for wording how about this:
Italian Stuka Ops - The following Stukas may be based on this carrier: Ju87B, Ju87D, Ju87E, Ju87R2 Picchiatelli.
Freccia Operations - The G.50 Freccia may base on this unit
My final thought on this unit is should we give it a CAP of 2 and Poor Facilities?
Poor Facilities - Whenever you return two aircraft to this unit during the air return phase, you must place a rearming counter on one of those aircraft

There is an existing Stuka Operations SA already on aquila. This updates that. Adds errata but thats already happened once.
