The Z25 is a Type 1936A destroyer which received in the late 1944 an additional AA refit and early 1945 a new FuMo 63 Radar. Also she survived the war and was captured in May 1945 by the Allies.
The Z52 is the planned Type 1944 destroyer. In addition to a heavy main armament, those ships had a increased Flak armament compared to its predecessors, including the new 5,5 cm AA gun which should have been introduced in 1945. In spring of 1944 five ships were ordered, but none of them was started to build.
The z52-z56 were ordered in 1943 keels were laid down but where broken up in 1944.
